Glen is a highly successful Financial Services Executive, Board Member, Public Company CEO, Small Business Owner, Investor and Executive Mentor, with a 21 year management background at GE in business development and P&L roles. He is passionate about building businesses by improving company and individual agility, and by applying a proven methodology that assesses and improves 5 key dimensions of performance: Leadership (preparing the company for change); Human Capital (aligning vision, strategy and tactics); Execution (integrating process, technology and people); Risk Management (minimizing disruptions); and Governance (enabling constructive dissent).
Glen spent 20+ years with GE Capital in progressively complex leadership roles in general management, business development, and operations management, living and working in US and international markets. In his last role there, he was CEO of GE Money Latin America, where he built a 9 country operation from start up, exceeding $12bn in assets, $100mm in annual earnings and 17,000 employees. He signed dozens of partnerships, created multiple new products, and built out a network of over 1000 branches. Earlier GE roles were General Director of GE Capital, Global Insurance Ventures, working in London, UK where he set and executed strategy for a group of businesses that grew net income from US$2mm to US$10mm and added over US$3bn in assets; Chief Operations Officer of GE-owned Consolidated Financial Insurance Group in London; and Director of Business Development at GE Money. Glen has lived in 6 countries, been responsible for operations in over 30 countries, and was recognized by GE’s Board of Directors as a Growth Leadership role model.
He received his MBA from the University of Chicago, his BS in Economics and Finance from the University of Scranton, and is Six Sigma Black Belt certified.
